Eric Sun represents corporate clients in civil litigation in state and federal courts, with a focus on trial practice. He has successfully defended product designers and manufacturers, obtaining multiple defense verdicts in jury trials in product liability actions. In cases that did not reach verdict, Eric contributed to the favorable resolution for his clients by credibly demonstrating the risk/benefit of trial to adverse parties and clients alike.
Notwithstanding court successes, Eric is ever mindful of the increasing economic pressures under which clients conduct their businesses. He is committed to resolving claims quickly and efficiently by establishing a resolution plan based on accurate exposure assessment, steering cases toward outcomes that adhere to prescribed guidelines. When early resolutions are not possible, Eric is equally at home defending clients’ interests in court.
