Thomas Holmgren is a results-oriented litigator who has defended large institutional clients and individuals in all varieties of construction claims, complex and commercial liability torts, and environmental actions in four states and in various federal courts, including in multidistrict litigation, across the country.

His diverse experience enables Thomas to find creative solutions in defending cases and, in turn, innovative ways to limit his client’s exposure. Having a background in Special Investigation Unit (SIU) claims, Thomas is adept at questioning a plaintiff and uncovering impeachment evidence that can change the playing field.

Thomas has remained involved with his undergraduate and law schools through various mentoring programs, and founded a moot court competition program for Hartwick College, for which he currently serves as Director. Thomas spends a good deal of his free time in upstate New York renovating a historical house and hiking or skiing in the high peaks.
