Tom is a member of an experienced team of attorneys specializing in the defense of coverage disputes, meticulously analyzing clients’ most intricate coverage questions to obtain cost-effective and early resolution. In addition, Tom is well-versed in risk analysis and mitigation, SIU assistance, and handling appellate matters. He has significant trial experience, having tried more than 20 jury trials to verdict.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Tom worked at an established litigation defense firm, where he was a member of the Coverage Practice group. Previously, Tom was a prosecutor in the Washington County District Attorney's Office in Hillsboro, Oregon, where he gained valuable experience in criminal law and procedure, prosecuting numerous jury and bench trials.

In addition to his law practice, Tom serves as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps Reserve.
