Russ Vignali (Partner-White Plains, NY) authored “New York legislation regulating use of e-bicycles and e-scooters,” for the March 3, 2021, issue of ILO’s Shipping & Transport newsletter. The article examines legislation in New York regarding the use of e-bicycles and e-scooters that give localities the authority to write their own regulations. Russ noted that post-COVID-19, many New Yorkers may be unwilling to use  mass transit or taxi services, as they have in the past, thereby increasing the use of e-bicycles and e-scooters.
