Urvashi Sinha is an accomplished trial lawyer who practices in state and federal courts. She is a tenacious litigator who handles all aspects of litigation, including trial preparation, substantive motions, depositions and more. Throughout her career, Urvashi has taken more than 30 verdicts in New York and California. 

Before joining Wilson Elser, Urvashi was executive agency counsel with the New York City Transit Authority, taking many successful jury verdicts in venues within New York City. There she litigated high-exposure injury cases, including degloving injuries, fatalities and dismemberment cases. Prior to joining the New York City Transit Authority, Urvashi gained insight into the workings of the court system as an assistant law clerk for the Bronx County Supreme Court, Civil Division and legal research attorney for the San Mateo County Superior Court, Criminal Division. Immediately after law school, Urvashi worked as a criminal defense attorney in Alameda County, California, representing indigent clients at trial and post-conviction.
