Victoria Silva defends companies in toxic tort, talc, asbestos, product liability, premises liability, general liability and environmental litigation matters. Victoria has defended manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and premises owners at the state level in New Jersey and New York, and successfully obtained numerous dismissals, nominal settlements and favorable results for these clients. Victoria also is involved in the expert and medical defenses associated with these complex cases. In addition, she has managed and assisted in the resolution of various asbestos claims, and handled a vigorous caseload from inception to jury trial in general liability matters. Victoria serves as local counsel for numerous companies, including Fortune 500 and privately held corporations. She is an active member of the firm’s Hispanic Employee Resource Group.

Victoria also has experience in employment disputes, including litigation related to discrimination claims, wage-and-hour matters, and other employment-related causes of action before state and federal trial courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration panels. She is the Chair of the firm’s Hispanic Employee Resource Group.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Victoria practiced at a mid-sized New Jersey law firm where she focused her practice on the defense of toxic tort, general liability and insurance coverage matters.
