In all aspects of litigation, he regularly represents global, national and local transportation companies; national retailers and entertainment/recreation chains; product manufacturers/distributors; general contractors; specialized equipment suppliers/installers; and commercial property owners.

Prior to joining the firm, Zach practiced for several years at a firm that served as counsel for several of the largest transportation companies in the world. He also worked as an associate at a boutique law firm representing medical professionals, practices and hospitals in professional liability and other health care–related matters. At the outset of his legal career, Zach served as law clerk to the Honorable Lawrence Maron, J.S.C. in the New Jersey Superior Court, Passaic County.

Zach has extensive experience representing transportation clients of all sizes in complex litigated and non-litigated, high-exposure matters. His experience ranges from serving as counsel for several of the largest shipping, freight and delivery companies in the world to representing single-unit owner-operators. Zach regularly defends transportation clients in matters involving fatalities, serious injuries and large losses, consistently achieving favorable results through an aggressive, yet pragmatic and economically sound, approach to litigation and dispute resolution.

Complex Tort & General Casualty
Zach regularly defends an array of commercial clients in premises liability and other tort matters. He handles all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, dispositive motion practice, alternate dispute resolution and settlement negotiations. He has obtained dismissals and negotiated favorable settlements in high-exposure matters on behalf of a multitude of commercial clients.

Emergency Response
Zach has substantial experience handling rapid responses for his clients when emergent, catastrophic events occur. He often is on-scene within hours after such events and is accustomed to efficiently handling ongoing investigations and providing thoughtful, responsive and comprehensive legal advice to his clients in the midst of chaotic and stressful situations. He understands the importance of swift, decisive handling of catastrophic events and takes pride in providing his clients with high-quality, ongoing guidance on claims handling, whether it be hours, months or years after the event.
