Employee Resource Groups

Employee resource groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led initiatives that create a comfortable and safe environment for personal and professional support. They also provide valuable networking opportunities. Wilson Elser currently supports six active ERGs as part of its broader Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiative:

  • The Women Attorneys Valued & Empowered (WAVE) ERG attracts, develops, and retains women attorneys at Wilson Elser, enhancing and strengthening their skills and providing career-advancing opportunities in client service, business development, and leadership. WAVE currently has more than 300 members who actively participate in a variety of national, regional, and local programs. Read more about WAVE.

  • In addition to WAVE, there are individual ERGs that celebrate and support the LGBTQIA+, Asian American & Pacific Islander, Black, and Latino communities. Another fosters connection among those who serve as caregivers for family members. Each meets regularly and is guided by its own mission statement. Members participate in a wide range of programming, from networking events to firmwide webcasts.

Regardless of background, beliefs, or personal identity, all attorneys are encouraged to join any of the ERGs and engage in related meetings and activities.
