Briana Alongi

Briana Alongi defends parties in malpractice lawsuits and against claims by third-party users of accounting firm services involving a broad range of claims. These include audit failures, security laws claims, failure to detect embezzlement and fraud, providing allegedly faulty tax or estate planning advice and improperly valuing businesses.

Prior to working at Wilson Elser, Briana worked at a firm specializing in Landlord Tenant and Real Estate Law. Briana has represented landlords and multiple complexes with landlord-tenant matters, such as non-payment and holdover proceedings, and has assisted clients throughout the entirety of the closing process.

Briana interned for the Honorable Stephen L. Greller, Dutchess County Court, and the Honorable Christine Sproat, Dutchess County Supreme Court. She also interned at the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office and the New York State Police, as well as at two law firms. In addition, she served as a research assistant for Professor Bridget Crawford while in law school.
