Partners Ian Stewart (Los Angeles, CA), Dean Rocco (Los Angeles, CA) and Allison Maynard (Dallas, TX) will present three sections of “Marijuana Business Law in Oklahoma,” presented by the National Business Institute online on March 23, 2022. Their presentations include “Banking and Financing for the Marijuana Industry,” “Obtaining an Oklahoma Cannabis Business License” and “Ethics of Cannabis for Attorneys.” Ian and Dean will leverage their experience as co-chairs of the firm’s national Cannabis Law Practice to discuss the ethical implications of managing cannabis clients. Allison served in the Oklahoma Attorney General’s office as an Assistant Attorney General in the Litigation Division. Since moving to Wilson Elser’s Dallas, Texas, office, Allison has maintained a robust caseload in Oklahoma state and federal courts.
