Jason Krumenaker is a seasoned litigator whose practice is focused on the defense of negligence-based lawsuits in New York State, particularly construction-site accident claims. Jason has extensive experience with complex, high-exposure construction accidents, aviation, premises liability and product liability matters involving personal injury claims. He is particularly skilled in resolving matters for his clients at the pre-trial stage of litigation through in-depth background investigations of claimants, depositions, motion practice and mediation. Jason was one of 20 nominated finalists who successfully completed Wilson Elser’s rigorous Mock Trial Invitational through which our most successful trial lawyers impart their knowledge to those destined to join their ranks.

A significant portion of Jason’s practice involves representing owners and contractors in construction-site litigation where his years of experience have helped him develop a keen understanding of New York Labor Law statutes, the type of evidence needed to defend these claims and the mechanisms available for risk transfer. Jason represents commercial and general aviation interests, including air cargo facilities and all related service and support industries. Additionally, he represents small business and property owners in premises liability and motor vehicle actions. On each claim he handles, Jason pursues a strategy designed to achieve his client’s goals and the best possible outcome.

Jason’s litigation approach reflects the use of his diverse background and experience, including four years working as a private investigator; his service in the United States Marine Corps as a Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Weapons Defense Specialist; an Environmental Compliance Tester for underground petroleum storage and distribution sites; an Immigration Officer with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services; as well as his time as a volunteer firefighter.
