Rebekah Salas Mercer represents clients in state and federal courts with an emphasis on the defense of claims related to complex commercial matters. Her practice encompasses federal and state regulatory investigations and proceedings, commercial disputes, risk management, ethical proceedings, and class actions. Bekah's clients include businesses of all sizes, banking institutions, and accounting firms.
Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Bekah gained valuable experience at an international defense firm in New York City, where she was a member of the business litigation group. Previously, she handled class action matters for a national plaintiff's law firm. Bekah also served as a judicial law clerk at the U.S. Federal District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
During law school, Bekah was a student attorney in the Religious Liberty Clinic and a board member of the Stanford Latinx Law Students Association and the Stanford Christian Law Fellowship. Additionally, she participated in Stanford’s Naturalization Pro Bono Project and served as a student volunteer for the CARA Family Detention Pro Bono Project.
