Shirley provides legal counsel and representation to accounting firms and professionals in connection with all aspects of their business. In addition to professional malpractice defense and commercial disputes, Shirley’s practice includes regulatory investigations and proceedings as well as risk management involving accounting firms.

Commercial Litigation
Shirley has represented numerous businesses in a wide array of disputes involving commercial contracts, real estate, Uniform Commercial Code, trusts and estates, and partnerships. Shirley is well versed in Relativity and other e-Discovery software and has overseen numerous electronic and paper document collection projects as well as productions for litigation, governmental regulatory investigations and subpoenas, and other matters.

Real Estate
Shirley has represented numerous landlords, residential and commercial tenants, and developers in their real estate needs in a wide array of disputes and transactional matters, including lease drafting, landlord-tenant proceedings, due diligence counseling, Yellowstone injunctions and various administrative proceedings.
